20 Bamboo Huts
Camping is another way of directly experiencing nature. An eco-friendly camp. Mashobra Greens has an organized accommodation that is comfortable and spacious. Divided into 20 Bamboo cum Mud Huts, it has a well equipped dining/conference area and plenty of activity areas. Bamboo Huts of two dimensions 16’ X 12’ & 18’ X 12’ are built on Eco friendly structure and have an Attached washroom with running water facility. Each unit is furnished with a comfortable king sized double bed along with soft mattresses and quilts, well equipped with charging points. All the huts have a personalized and large size attached washroom with all the modern facilities and aminities and a varanda which gives the overwhelming view of the Apple Orchards and the Himalayas. One of the unique features of Mashobra Greens is its location admits the forest and open view of Shali Tibba, one of the highest peak in Shimla region.

Conference Hall
Weather it is a conference or a meeting, we have a large sized Conference Hall made out of bamboo and mud to give you natural and warm environment Large windows will provide you with a breath taking view of the cedar forest and Himalayan birds outside and all around the camp. Modern meeting facilities like PA systems or projectors can be arranged any time on special requests and requirement. 

Bon Fire Dining 
The Mashobra Greens provides you an opportunity to enjoy some music or play some bon fire games while enjoying hot homemade soup followed by hot food served around the bon fire.

About the Region

Mashobra is a quaint town in the district of Shimla, located at an altitude of 2,348 mt, and linked by a historic route to Shimla, Mashobra was built by Lord Dalhousie in the 18th century. It is located on one of Asia’s largest watersheds, with the Indus and on either sides.Surronded with densely covered forests of oaks and pines, it is also one of the main markets supplying fruits and vegetables to Shimla.

Shimla: (Queen of Hills)
Shimla originally called Simla, is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. In 1864, Shimla was declared the summer capital of the British Raj in India. A popular tourist destination, Shimla is often referred to as the “Queen of Hills” (a term coined by the British). Located in the north-west Himalayas at an average altitude of 2,205 metres (7,234 ft), the city of Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The city is famous for its buildings styled in tudorbethan and neo-gothic architecture dating from the colonial era. Shimla is connected to the city of Kalka by one of the longest narrow gauge railway routes still operating in India, the Kalka-Shimla Railway. Shimla is approximately 115 km from Chandigarh, the nearest major city, and 365 km from New Delhi, the national capital. The city is named after the goddess Shyamala Devi, an incarnation of the Hindu Goddess Kali.
Naldhera: (Nine-hole golf course)
The scenic nine hole Naldehra golf course, with its springy turf and crown of deodar was laid out at the instance of Viceroy , Lord Curzon. So enamoured was he by the beauty of the spot , that he named his youngest daughter Alexandra Naldehra . Naldhera is 23km from Shimla. The rolling greens of Naldehra in Himachal Pradesh are par for the oldest golf course in India. This is an unusual course, perched at a height of 2044 metres, strewn with boulders, trees and little hillocks.
Kufri: (Ski slopes)
Kufri is a beautiful hill station situated at an altitude of 2633 m above the sea level and 19 km from Shimla on the National Highway 22. Kufri is derived from the name Kufer which literally means pond. This place is famous for ski slopes and offers great views of the deep valleys and forests which rise towards the lofty Himalayas. It is surrounded by cedar woods and through which one can walk to Mahasu Peak, the highest peak in Kufri.
The Himalayan Nature Park and the Indira Tourist Park are the near by tourist attractions.An annual winter sports festival is also organized every year in the month of February.
Fagu: (A picturesque village)
Fagu, at an altitude of 2750 meters and 22 km from Shimla is an offbeat destination.It is an amazing destination to head for its silent, serene and splendour surroundings. The dense forests here offer the scope to explore places never trodden. The ambiance of this destination ensures surprises for the adventurous ones and for a traveller seeking peace and solitude.
Narkanda: (Apple orchards)         
Narkanda, at the height of 8,100 ft, is a hill station located on the Old Hindustan-Tibet Road (National Highway 22), between the valleys of river Sutlej and Beas. A favorite destination of tourists who enjoy winter sports and panoramic views of the Himalayas, the place is 65 km from Shimla. At a distance of 8 km from Narkanda is Hattu Peak. The peak is famous for skiing. Narkanda is doted with lakes, temples and deodar trees. January to June is the ideal time to visit.
Tattapani: (Natural hot-sulphur springs)
At a distance of 51 kms from Shimla, past Mashobra and Naldehra are the hot sulphur springs of Tattapani which are known for their therapeutic powers.
Chail: (World’s highest cricket ground)
Built on the three hills, the former capital of the Maharaj of Patiala is situated about 45 kms from Shimla. It’s a charming tourist resort, well known for its cricket pitch, the highest in the world, wildlife and Sidh Baba ka Mandir. Walking through the majestic pines, or excellent view of Choor Chandni and twinkling lights of Shimla at night can be a memorable experience.
